In my sun lounge, which was very sunny for once and with both\u00a0neighbours out for the afternoon, I worked on and rehearsed <span style=\"color: #000000;\">Kevin<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> Kendle&#8217;s<\/span> <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">&#8220;Dance of Electra&#8221;<\/span>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ozrics.com\"><strong>Ozric Tentacles<\/strong>&#8216;<\/a> <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">&#8220;Lost in the sky&#8221;<\/span> and the new attempt at their song, <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">&#8220;Papyrus&#8221;<\/span>. Whilst the left hand\u00a0was generally accurate, the right was far too <em>trigger-happy<\/em> again but calmed with tenacity and some self-restraint. The thrill of<br \/>\ngetting it right (the accompaniments) was difficult to contain so I sought out two additional pieces that would have some additional energy, namely <a href=\"http:\/\/www.simpleminds.com\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Simple Minds<\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Themes for great cities&#8221;<\/strong> and then a surprise encounter&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-442 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/pyramidhead.forgot.his.name\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Simon-bass-picking_Snapseed-300x222.jpg\" alt=\"Simon bass picking_Snapseed\" width=\"394\" height=\"291\" srcset=\"http:\/\/pyramidhead.forgot.his.name\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Simon-bass-picking_Snapseed-300x222.jpg 300w, http:\/\/pyramidhead.forgot.his.name\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Simon-bass-picking_Snapseed-768x569.jpg 768w, http:\/\/pyramidhead.forgot.his.name\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Simon-bass-picking_Snapseed.jpg 886w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 394px) 100vw, 394px\" \/> With Amazon Music on my smartphone, I stumbled upon a very\u00a0energetic old favourite and, within sixty seconds, unbelievably, worked out the D# and F theme with its D#, C, B, A coda.<br \/>\nFor years I&#8217;d imagined it to be very complex and at some \u00a0sweat-inducing pace. Not so. In the end, I&#8217;d <strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">discovered<\/span><\/strong> and played, with real gusto, the introduction to <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">&#8220;Baila mi hermana (Dance, sister, dance)&#8221;<\/span> from the <strong>Moonflower<\/strong> album by<a href=\"http:\/\/www.santana.com\"> <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Santana<\/span><\/a>. It was a serotonin and adrenalin hit simultaneously! I worked it out. I had done it&#8230;and with no one to hear me&#8230;performing with all the potency and rhyming hyper-salsa of this 70s Classic&#8230;to my thudding hearts content.
